däj haus
A platform exploring the relationship between people, spaces, and the way we live. Through photography and film, I’m building a visual world around the places we create—and what they reveal about us.

Justice Baiden

An early chapter of däj haus, photographed inside Justice Baiden’s home. The series explores the relationship between personal space, art, and identity—the details that make a home feel like someone, rather than simply somewhere.

Open Haus
Series concept & video editing — Dayja Jay
I introduced Open Haus to take that curiosity further. I wanted to move beyond how a space looks and hear from the person who gives it meaning: why they chose it, what they’ve brought into it, and how they’ve made it their own.
Spanning storefronts, artist residencies, private residences, and unique stays, the series brings a personal perspective to architecture and interiors. These three selected films introduce that approach.

The Rise of the Apartment Hotel
Nester Finn, Toronto
Photography — Dayja Jay
Photographed during my stay at Nester Finn in Toronto, this däj haus travel editorial explores the overlap between home and hotel.
Through the details of the space—from residential furnishings to everyday comforts—I look at how design, personal touches, and wellness shape the experience of a stay.
